I'm new to the chanter, but I several years under my belt plaing the drums. I do have great difficulty with making adaptation to the Chanter. To start with, you have cords to remember while on drums you deal pitch. With cords, you have to hold the note for a period of time while with drums the number of hits makes the note. For examble, 16th notes require for quick hits while whole notes require one hit per measure. Eventhough I face the challenge, I will succeed.
